Silent Partner

Silent partner is a business partner who provides capital but does not participate in the management of the company.

Any person who contributes nothing other than financial support to a company is considered a silent partner. Silent partners, commonly referred to as silent investors, make investments in businesses without getting involved in day-to-day management. An investor who contributes funds and has complete faith in the general partner’s capacity to expand the company is known as a silent partner. A silent partner is a person who participates in a company’s profits and losses but is not actively involved in its management. An investor who does not participate in a company’s daily operations or decision-making is known as a silent partner.
